August 30, 2026 Update: The Chavez sisters returned from Ciego de Ávila where they reached 25 vulnerable families in the communities of El Aguacate, Las Gruyes and Tamarindo. Check our Instagram for more photos @Give2Cuba.

August 8, 2026 Update: The Chavez sisters arrived in Ciego de Ávila on August 7th. They are delivering food, meds and other essentials to over 25 vulnerable families in their hometown of Tamarindo.

June 16, 2026 Update: A big thank you to Leo Goolden for traveling to Santiago de Cuba and delivering over $7,000 worth of food, medicine, and other essentials to our local partners. Our volunteers and donors are the heart of our organization and we were honored to partner with Leo to deliver this crucial aid to eastern Cuba. Check out this great video of the project here!

May 23, 2026 Update: Thank you to all of our friend and donors who supported our May 1-15 trips to Havana & Ciego de Ávila. Our volunteers distributed over $10,000 in cash, food, medicine, and other essentials to over 30 vulnerable families.

April 3, 2026 Update: A big thank you! to all who supported our March trip to Havana. Our volunteers distributed over $4,000 in cash, food, medicine, and other essentials to vulnerable families.

We focus on direct, practical help:

• Food support for families facing shortages.

• Medicine and medical supplies for urgent needs.

• Hygiene items, clothing, toys, and other essentials.

• Home visits to families and support to local partners across Cuba.

Feb. 20, 2026 Update: Our volunteers distributed over $3,000 in food, medicine, and other essentials to families in Santa Clara, Cuba.

Jan. 2026 Update: Our volunteers visited Havana in Jan. and delivered over $5,000 in supplies, food, medicine and cash, providing direct help to over 45 families.

November, 2025 Update: This trip we delivered over $6,000 in supplies, food, medicine and cash to partners in Holguín and Santiago de Cuba for families affected by Hurricane Melissa.

August 2025 Update: We just got back from a weekend trip to Havana, to check on several families we support and deliver much needed food and medications. This visit we focused on families in the neighborhood of Guanabacoa, which is about 5 miles from Old Havana.

April 2025 Update: Our April volunteer trip and work was focused on the community of Artemisa, a community of less than 80,000 people and about 40 miles from Old Havana. Reaching families in a more rural setting has its challenges, but we are blessed by volunteers with roots throughout Cuba who support our work and personally deliver support to families in need.

Jan. 2025 Update: We started 2025 with a big trip to Havana with over 10 volunteers, to deliver hundreds of items of food, medicine and other essentials to the children’s center in Old Havana. Thank you Pando family for your compassion and commitment to the people of Cuba.

Dec. 7, 2024 UPDATE: Thank you for supporting our Dec 4-6 in Dec. to Matanzas, Cuba. Our volunteers from Miami traveled to Cuba and delivered hundreds of items of food, medicine, medical supplies, clothes, toys and personal hygiene items.

Nov. 20, 2024 UPDATE: Thank you for supporting our four trips in November to Cuba. Our volunteers from Houston, Miami and NYC traveled to Cuba and delivered hundreds of items of food, medicine, medical supplies, clothes, toys and personal hygiene items.

Oct. 21, 2024: Cubans continue to suffer as widespread blackouts stretched into their fourth day, and tropical storm Oscar hits its eastern coast. Two Give2Cuba volunteer teams are traveling to Cuba this week and next to deliver food, batteries, flashlights, medicines and other essentials. Please consider making a gift to support this effort.
